I’m a little disappointed so far. The hype had me excited, but it’s been slow to build for me and I’m just not hyped to read it right now. I’ve been reading for a week and I’m only a 1/3 of the way through so far.

Hard to walk away from this book. The narrator either got better or has grown on me.

Narrator’s voice is getting on my nerves. Soft, breathy and whiney.

I didn’t read up on this book, simply picked it based on popularity as a summer read. I was not expecting the depressing beginning.

Enjoying the book, but maybe because I’m from America I’m not understanding why a mother went to such great lengths to cover up the fact that her daughter struck a mugger with her keys to the throat while scared or panicked.

Love how I can pick up a book from this series and suddenly remember even the side characters as if there hadn’t been two years and hundreds of books between us.

Hated the book. Did not finish.

Horrible. The writing is horrible. I had to stop at 4% to see what others said about the author’s writing style. I read enough of those to decide to put this on my DNF list.

I haven’t finished. The audiobook keeps crashing and jumping to other sections of the book. Since the chapters are so long it’s impossible to find where I last was. (5 chapters for the entire novel!)
Maybe someday I will decide to try this again, but for now I have lost heart. I hope someone makes a movie out of it before then.
