Reread for the first time since like 6th grade and umm yeah this is a good book. Enchanting prose

So far this is everything I wanted and more from a Bob Dylan memoir. Obvi we all know he’s like a pretty good writer but I’m still very impressed by the prose style. Also obsessed with all the random asides. I agree with – Moby Dick really is the ultimate fish story!

Can someone please get me a ticket to the Colorado history museum. I want to go read this in the dust bowl simulator

Ugh I can’t stop rereading books. But really if it took this insane man 20 years to write then the least I could to is read it twice. Tbh. Anyways this is everything I remembered it to be.

Great so far but I’m gonna need a trigger warning before reading about Laika the dog. Like seriously.

Getting really mixed messages from the internet about whether or not this is the censored version of the book... why is it so hard to find that out? Anyway this book rules so far. Oh to be a demonic little cat roaming the streets of Soviet Moscow...

Ohh no these little Russian guys really have invaded my brain. Rereading to help me with fiction class and cuz this book is amazing. “In the Cart” is one of the saddest and best stories I’ve ever read especially considering how objectively boring it is.

Been reading this for like two years. Finally finishing!
