This year has been insane. Hard. Awful.
I became a widow. I lost my soulmate.
I’m fighting through the worst mental health slump of my life.
But I still managed to read 26 books. I indulged in my favorite hobby 26 times.
I’d say that’s success.

i’ve realized i put entirely too much pressure on myself with my reading goal. so much so it was causing me actual stress. from now on my goal will be 12 per year. 1 per month :) i expect to read much more than that but, hey. life is too short to feel genuine stress over a goal.
