Some of my Goodreads friends think this is a steaming pile of misogynistic trash and some of them think it is a great piece of literature. I guess it's time to see what I think. I'm not a massive fan of what I've read so far.

Up to the Cockleshell story. Winton's writing all the way!

It's so good to be reading fiction again. I have been devouring this book for the past couple of hours. I didn't know it was science fiction so some of the elements that are slowly being revealed came as a shock!

I don't know how reliable the narrator is either...
