My sincere apologies go out to all of my good reads friends for the deep dive into romance novels this year. Unfortunately, moving to a new country and learning a new language has maxed out my desire to process dense literature. So therefore, I will be pallet cleansing my brain with rom coms for the foreseeable future 🤝🏼

This book made me feel deeply. I am undone.

I feel like all my book reads reviews begin with “I cried.” Maybe I’m sensitive or maybe I read good books? But, I loved Funny Story so much. I gasped at the end as it was seamlessly tied together. I feel like this book had some good grit sharing the emotions of childhood wounds and also how love stories can be so messy yet beautiful. Thank you, Emily Henry 🙏🏽
