I want to be more active here this year. 2019 was a really tough year for me, and I hadn't been reading as much as I would like to. My goal for 2020 is to make more space for things that spark joy in my life. I want to read more and watch more movies, write reviews, and maybe even some literary analysis essay here and there, because I miss dissecting books.

what the actual fuck? that was disgusting. Marjane was an awful person from the very beginning, but this?

i hate how every girls she doesn't like for whatever reason is 'a fat cow' and how she's constantly calling people fat as if it's the worst insult in existence

so far it's really underwhelming. it's clearly meant for kids, who know nothing of Iran and that's probably what makes it so hard to digest for me?
