Yeah I’m 128 pages in and and the book is just super stale right now. Dracula hasn’t showed up since page 60. And now professor van helsing has shown up. And still fuck all has happened.there is some chapters I love of the book but I can’t stand that even dr Seward and Lucy have to keep journal entries for everything . Like when’s Dracula about to kill the nunnery. Sorry Stoker can’t take any more

Read this at a point where it just got me too emotional for me. Still enjoyed this overall Alfred Molina is an amazing narrator.

I hate to be the person who dnfs a book as I honestly found this book incredibly crazy in concept and execution. About a man and his talking cat. Unfortunately the humour it’s just a bit too fucked up for me
