I have soup in the crockpot, a fall candle burning, no where to be, and this writing is phenomenal. What a good day.

Example of said good writing: “ if he’d stayed he’d have seen this: a smile, a disbelieving shake of the head. And a napkin, folded, put away safely in the back pocket of a pair of ripped jeans.”

This is such a fun start to the “ber” months
