My pastor recommended this book to my husband and I. My mind is blown…. I am finally connecting the dots and everything makes sense. I’m looking forward to Gentry’s commentary on revelation that will be out by July.

So far I have been very impacted by this book. 🙏🏼

I’m now into the BLCC portion of the book. He is discussing one part of the curse that isn’t discussed often and it’s “I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception” conception has been impacted by the fall… 🤯 I’ve seen and read this verse a million times and I’m just now seeing it unpacked. Very cool. So far I highly recommend this book!!

It’s become a bit redundant and I’m kinda tired of reading it. So I’m going to stop. 🤣 great topic though.

A great read so far. I like that she begins the foundation of this topic on scripture. This is not a “name it claim it” type of word affirmation book. It’s all about building our children up, teaching them, praying for them and loving them with our words.

“It is a dangerous practice to explain away doctrine based on archeology. We should share Paul’s attitude: “That you may learn in us not to think beyond what is written” (1 cor. 4:6)

After studying this passage since 2020, this is probably the best and most comprehensive book I’ve read on the topic. Very good so far. I look forward to reading more of Kaysers books

So far my favorite read aloud with my daughters. The conversations that spark are always really good.
