If your kids like animals and fantasy, let them read this series! I don't know why it has taken us so long to pick this one back up because it is great. We are doing it as a read aloud.

I like their banter... She is a little annoying and whinny but not as bad as I thought she would be in the beginning.

omg the part where the toddler is crying beside the dead adult... my heart... ps this book is not what I thought it was going to be and I feel like I am going to cry... A LOT!!

Started off really strong but it is a struggle to read right now. I think I am going to take a break from it and then revisit.

The way my brain is obsessing over this book and comparing it to real life and throwing the "what ifs" around, is insane lol

It’s honestly giving me major ick right now. I don’t feel like this is love, it def feels more like lust and you shouldn’t mess with lust when it’s your best friends brother.

well if Nate isn't the most green flag character I have ever read. I want to be his best friend.

Loving Margaret's story line but Hayden and Alice are killing me with no s** but we will literally do anything else. Ive eye rolled so hard at them WAY too many times. I feel like their relationship does not have a ton of depth besides forced proximity and physical attraction.

Also, not me literally gasping when I finally figured out who Niel was aka the ex from the first book in this series. It has been a while since I read it, and Justin has a loose connection to the other characters, but it is set in the same area and at the same hospital.

Sooooo I did not think a kids book could get me with its twist but this one did!

So far this book is really cute! And he totally shouldn't change his dogs name lol

I mean it has gotten a little more entertaining, but I'm still not in love with the characters. Maybe it is because they are teenagers. I would say that it is well-written. And there are some nice twists and turns.

It feels a lot like ACOTAR meets Disney high school movie right now, which is not a good thing. We are still world-building, so it could turn around.

I had to slow my reading speed down so much simply due to the accents lol its very cute so far, nice bantar

Just got to chapter 33… so far this one is better than the first. Still not blown away, sitting on the edge of my seat like I feel like I should be based on all the hype BUT it is better so I’ll take that.

Yall tell me it gets better because it is not doing it for me right now and I am trying not to DNF

Aelin is simply a beast!! And I love that Rowan constantly makes you fall more in love with him
