Thoughts so far:

The build up between the two main characters is good

They haven’t explained why she has been in prison since she was 9

The author doesn’t like Rats (poor rats btw)

Also describing 12 years of dirt built up on the skin 🤮

I don’t think I like the silver hair description but I’m open

I like the magical cards that humans can use even if they have no power they just gotta have moneyyy

I watched this on hallmark and LOVED it.. the main two characters chemistry was through the roof, so far the book has been engaging and the Irish accent is so cute

I’m having such a hard time making it through this

I'm hoping the 2nd half starts to pick up😩

I'm so happy that Zade found Addie omg 🤗

The writing in this one is significantly better so far

I'm having a hard time with this one, its a sloooow burn. Really wanting to put it down

I was super excited about this and I read some reviews first (which I shouldn't have) and now I'm thinking I'm going to be let down...we will see
