i have like almost sixty pages left and the plot is going craaaazzzzyyyyy
also nothing i repeat NOTHING has happened between the main characters yet but the yearning is. on. point.
that's what i'm telling when i say i want slow burn

you know the act of putting the book aside, closing your eyes, taking deep breathes so as to not scream and wake the whole city up.
yeah that's what this book makes me do

okaaay the tension is gooood

okay i'm very interested right from the beginning, the story has a very gothic and dark atmosphere to it that i very much liked especially with the rain outside. the permise basically is this girl who can see the dead does an agreement with a man that apparently trades coins for secrets? i'm in

still very much at the beginning but i'm eating every little detail up.

you guys the tension, angst, chemistry in this book is muaahhh *chef's kiss*
it has definitely gotten a lot hot in here just so you know👀

two chapters in and i know this will be super cute!!!! first of all; HE'S SHY and i love it✨💫

i've made good progress these last two days but the dominant feeling remains to be just intrigue. i'm not obsessed with what's going on, but i don't hate it as well so idk what that tells.

i must say the worldbuilding and plot is very intriguing and i'm interested in it.
i should've researched more before buying it but thank god i want to keep reading

okay there are things that i'm definitely vibing with, i couldn't put it down yesterday night. but there's also things that i'm not so vibing with especially with the present part of the story. i'm very intrigued, let's see how it goes

is it just me or are the present chapters giving joe alwyn and taylor swift if they'd have to be in the same environment???
