Holy crap! Was not expecting that!

Okay, someone needs to shove this "Doctor" overboard.

Luckily, I'm not one of those readers who can't stand books filled with characters whom they can't stand. So far, Jonah is the only light in a deep, dark pit. I loved Freedom, really liked Crossroads , and I'm beginning to fall in love with The Corrections.

Maybe she'll redeem herself at some point, I don't know, but I HATE Caroline.

I am LOVING this book so far! As the mother of a (now grown up) son with Asperger Syndrome, Wooden Mum really resonated with me, particularly the attitudes of some 'Well-Meaning' people.

So far, this book is like an episode of Friends, minus the fun and the heart. It'd be called "The One Where They're Rich Assholes Who Hate Each Other."

I'm loathe to bag another writer but damn, I hate this book. First and I hope only dnf for the year.

Well, he went and did it. I didn't think Iain Reid could do it again, but he did. He created another story that burrowed into my brain and is still crawling around in there. I'm absolutely buzzing. Of all the possible endings I was anticipating, it ended up being the simplest, most perfect one, and even though all the clues were there, now that I look back on it, I wasn't even close to picking it.
