This book gets bonus points from me because it stirred up my mind on the topic of compensation and now we're talking about agency problems. Essentially, how to properly structure comp for those managing the execution of the work to help ensure that managers don't put self-interest first.

The LLC section is genuinely making me have thoughts about workers' rights and responsibilities. We spend so much time telling everyday employees to work like they are entrepreneurs. But to what benefit if the ladder to becoming a limited partner is broken?

I'm actually on the 2023 edition but wanted to share that Chapter 1 starts off with drama between Dartmouth College and the state legislature in 1819. These editors started a textbook chapter off hot.
