Ok so the word bear has so many meanings atm!!
Cade’s last name, him pointing out that Paige’s own also means bear. And I am pretty sure that the dreamwalker Warden mentioned, Emma, her last name Orson also points towards bear, which supports my theory that she is an ancestor to Paige and possibly to Cade.

Then there’s the fact that Warden’s name Arcturus is the brightest star of the Bear…

I’ve decided I am being gaslit by the author 🙂‍↕️ this is some of the worst torture I’ve experienced from a book in a long time, so glad I bought the latest book today and get to continue being tortured very soon

A bit over half-way this book I am pleasantly surprised how into it I am! Multiple people had warned me about it being Sanderson’s first book, and I personally don’t see much to criticise in that way. It’s different, a teeny bit more fast-paced than the Mistborn-series for example, but still building up rather beatifully imo. Cannot wait for the Sanderlanche 😄

So far the most intriguing start to a Sanderson book that I’ve read!

Starting Eleventh Metal

Secret history was exactly what I needed for the emotional part of mistborn era 1. Super interesting hints about the whole Cosmere starting to come in!

Reading short stories not in the order of the book. First up, secret history!

After seeing the (extended) films in the cinema and remembering my deep love for Tolkien I feel like tackling the whole lotr together with the companion might be fun. 16-year-old Venla who dreamed of being a Tolkien scholar definitely approves!
