i don’t know how i’ll rate this because it’s BEAUTIFULLY written, absolutely stunning prose, but basically everything else about it sucks. so i’m fuming. i would read everything else by this author in a heartbeat if i could trust him to do anything else right. but it’s just SO clear that he really hasn’t thought much about experiences other than his own

This book series was my EVERYTHING when I was a kid. It was absolutely the foundation for my inner world and I’m so excited to revisit it.
