Reading this for ENGL 2026. Not sure what this has to do with monsters/creeps so far. This really wasn’t what I expected. I’m confused on where this is going; I don’t know what happens in this as I’ve never heard anything about its plot.

I have no clue what I’m getting into it just sounded cool. Parallel universes? Sign me up.

BOY WHAT

Omg things are really picking up now. It may have taken me two months to get to this point but I guarantee it will not be long now til I’m done ;) I read over 100 pages (and some fanfics…) today I am so proud of myself :) maybe my reading slump is finally over 😌

I told myself I wouldn’t read anymore until I finished an actual book but alas… I got so very bored at work 😭 and this scratches an itch in my brain that nothing else can reach currently.

Listen so, I started reading this aloud to my friend so she can get my live reaction. This had me actually throwing my entire body backwards in laughter and I’m not even close to done. It is SO much worse than I could’ve ever imagined, but yet… it has me more captivated than any book I’ve read before.

All of a sudden this is scary?? It would be very interesting if this turned out to be a horror novel. I don’t think it will, but if it went that direction I would not be disappointed…

love the short chapters and wanna see where this goes… it’s kinda giving “I was adopted by one direction” cuz of how random it seems but I’m sure there’s a reason this is happening

I know the story, but I’m excited to read it for myself. After all, it was the first science-fiction book ever! Also, it will be the oldest book I’ve read. So far I like the way Mary Shelley writes.
