good start!

enjoying alot so far

will try finish tomorrow. it’s not even awfully bad or anything just can’t believe there’s still so much left. so tedious to read sometimes

whilst not being overly keen on clark’s writing i’m giving her another go. rly decent concept with this book, started alright just concerned about how tedious this concept could get after 300 more pages. going to give it a fair shot tho

it’s good to be back reading some CLB, this is my most anticipated read this year!

loving this so much, pretty much exactly what i’ve come to love & expect from bennet. can’t believe how low this is rated on here atm

enjoying it for the most part but not completely sold just yet. pg121 & already on chapter 34 is a bit egregious to me, i wish the writing allowed for a bit more flow instead of short bursts

incredible so far

wanted to finish this in one day (since the book takes place during the span of one day) but the writing is just so incredibly dense (no real surprise from Woolf) that i’m gonna let it sit & finish it off tomorrow

exceeding expectations so far!

as much as i’m appreciating the mystery & overall unique story so far, it’s starting to get a little bit too close to the end of the book with pretty much zero answers to anything. i feel like it all comes down to my next reading session. i’m either gonna feel the pay off was actually worth this & rly enjoy the text or im gonna feel a little bit let down. we shall see

wanted to finish this in one sitting but the text is so tiny my eyes can’t cope💔💔 i’ve probably stopped at the best time at least as i’m pretty sure everything is about to happen. am enjoying it just don’t think the overarching story just isn’t for me

finished ‘gigi’ onto ‘the cat’ next (which was the novella i was most excited for. gigi feels a bit awkward to read in modern context. i feel i understand how she is trying to portrayed but it just comes off a bit dodgy

ok i think im at the end of the first movie?? i assume anyway because the cliffhanger is kinda huge. so grateful to be getting out of jacob’s pov cause my god its so poorly written. so much cringey writing!! BUT things are actually happening (predictable but it’s still things!!))

i can’t believe there’s actually been payoffs & tension!! it’s only taking 3&1/2 books!!

day15!! easily my longest reading session to date, is that due to my eagerness to finally be done with the series OR because BD actually has an interesting plot from the start?? maybe a teeny bit of both😸

i do find this whole baby shenanigan a little weird & it’s woefully written, there is such a little amount of nuance which is funny but oh well! the imminent werewolf attack on the other hand?? invested!!
