A tour de force on the Trinity. The historical work is the best part of this book. At points this book was challenging to read, but this only forced me to challenge myself! Overall edifying, some issues I had were merely disagreements. I feel that Letham has a truncated view of the Covenant of Redemption, and should delve more into the Reformed Orthodox. Finally, I didn’t appreciate the ecumenism on the filioque.

Just great, would disagree with some of the republication material, but even then still 5 stars
