Just read the chapter on love-honestly took me a second to track with Piper on this chapter, but he nailed it in the end.

"Love is the overflow of joy in God that meets the needs of others. The overflow is experienced consciously as the pursuit of our joy in the joy of another. We double our delight in God as we expand it in the lives of others."

Some really good stuff so far!

Though it definitely could use a good editor. There’s a lot of little grammar and format issues that can be distracting from the main message. But overall, great stuff.

So good so far, the intro alone is a must read for all Christians who exist in our present age. I believe the rest will be too.

Finished Part 1, it’s so good and hard to put down.

Jam packed with so much theology discussed through the lens of Biblical Counseling, but applicable to everyone’s life. I already know this is a book I will read again in the future.
