There's long and then there's LONG.

I am HOOKED! Murder and moon-linked magic - such a perfect blend.
I am utterly intrigued.
I'm desperate to know who the killer is - I have my suspicions of course but I think som plot twist will turn it upside down in the best way.
The gruesomeness along with the soft mysticism in this book is incredible.

I'm so curious and drawn into this book. I didn't expect it to scare me but I've had goosebumps a few times now.

This book took me a while to get into. The start felt far too cheesy and predictable for me and I honestly felt like it was dragging - but now I've found myself smiling while reading. Maybe there's hope yet.

Okay so I do enjoy the general Hunger Games/Powerless vibes. What's making my eyes roll though is the typical female main character who's brilliant at fighting but has to hide that she doesn't have any power. It's Powerless all over again but in a different scenario.
That being said I'm still enjoying it so far and I do like the writing style.

Listening to this book and I'm absolutely hooked! Chinese folklore and culture mixed in with magic and metals is such a unique mix.

Why did the fire-bird have to die??!! That was so unnecessary. For such a legendary beast and character, I expected it to have more of a role.

I'm actually so confused by this book. Vale is such a slut.

I really don't know what to make of this LOL

The plot actually seems interesting and the writing isn't bad either but I'm listening to the audiobook and it's terrible.
