Holy shit Aris is back reading again??? You're as surprised as I am, but I thought that with the return to home during uni I would try pick up something, and I picked this book up at an Oxfam one day and yeah, quite good so far

Okay I know I said I would finish black skin white masks but then I found this while in London at Gays the word (if you know you know) and yeah now I'm reading this. God I think I'm becoming a language philosopher guy? That's not good lol xD also did not start today

Not reading this in order, it's for my lecture but I want to finish it so yeah hopefully I keep up with it

So as this is a book with 4 plays, I'll do mini reviews after each one. So I've read no exit as that was the first one, and I gotta say it was quite enjoyable. I'm going to be studying it for my existential module in a couple weeks so I thought I would read it ahead, and I had fun picking out themes I'd studied in being and nothingness.

Having a break in reading old classics, and delving into this instead. Considering my interest in the philosophy of ai and consciousness, feels like this is fitting

Nearly halfway pog, trying to finish it before I go to uni hopefully

Finally mention of Moby Dick!!! Also reading Ahab's in captain barbosa's voice from pirates of the Caribbean really gives his speeches life xD am enjoying the book more now, I'm glad I'm sticking with it

I feel like this will take me a long while to read but I'm enjoying the slow progress so far, once it becomes annoying that's when I'll struggle but each chapter not being too long is nice to be able to read bits at a time.

Also new characters introduced, I wonder how long it'll take for me to forget/misremember who they are (it already happened 😔)

Finally finished chapter 1!

Mfw the first couple of chapters, known for being difficult and even Marx said so in one of the prefaces, are actually difficult xD thank god for YouTube and lefties explaining it
