I’m finishing this book and reaching my goal even if it kills me

I really have a knack for picking books where the main character is an annoying ass whiny ass self degrading person.

I’m barely in and I’ve seen the phrase “I can’t do anything right, I never do anything right” like 4 times, SNORRRRREEEEEEEE

Though the main character is still dull, everything else has very much so picked up it’s pace. Pieces are falling into place and I’m starting to understand why this is rated highly. I still really just don’t enjoy character types that just feel sorry for themselves all the time, pisses me off.

The main character is a dull girl with no backbone who’s sorry for even existing. The world building was cool but it just sucks that the least interesting character is the one we get to hear all the inner monologues of. If this was written from thorns perspective it would at least be interesting.
