Taking a pause because my schedule is crazy and I’m at that point of the book where I just got to power through to the end because so much is happening. I need to sit and give this book the time it deserves. Hopefully soon!

Olives need a prescription for Prozac. And a therapist.

So far this is a five star read for me. I can’t put it down!

My commute audiobook going strong🫡. Olive is very awkward and it’s hard to like her.

Only 37% into the book and I’ve already cried several times. This is shaping up to be a 5 star read for me if things don’t get incredibly stupid.

So far it’s better than the first and that’s all I wanted!

The enemies to lovers are still enemies 80% of the way of book 2 in the series. I know it’s a slow burn but damn! I’m running out of patience.

The reference of security cameras took me out and I had to pause for a couple days before resuming.

Chaol was mad that Celaena was an assassin who killed people but now he’s mad that she’s an assassin who doesn’t kill people. The logic is not logicing.

The love triangle is love triangling.

Fleetfoot is my new favorite SJM character🐾💛

A whole lot of nothing is happening!

Celaena is an assassin. Dorian is impressed by it and Chaol is repulsed by it. Although they both think she is attractive. How will this end? Probably with Celaena choosing neither of them because it’s an SJM book.

Let’s get this party officially started! This better be good.
