Re-listening to this so I can finish the series. It has been awhile since my first read.

I didn't finish this before it was returned to Libby. However, I wasn't liking it enough to purchase it to finish or to wait for months to borrow it again. The Butcher & Blackbird (Ruinous Love Triology) was much better. So if someone wants to spoil the ending for me that would be appreciated.

I keep rolling my eyes because the MMC is an elitist jerk, but the FMC will laugh and smile away all his awful comments. She isn't afraid to talk back to him but it's never for anything important. Also, he told her she could eat his leftovers (like a dog) after he orders take out right infront of her, but doesn't want to admit that he ordered so many options hoping that she would like something. "Let them eat cake."

I only have an hour left in this audiobook. 😭💔

Re-read so that I can read the final book with a fresh memory of the previous books.

It's so good that I switched over to Kindle (from audio) so that I could highlight. I could not put this down last night. Is this book going to break me.....!?!

Don't mind me. I'm just casually cleaning and listening to my audiobook until I'm squealing about him stabbing the bed and assuring her that he already has a larger one with the same frame and accessories coming so that he can fit in her bed. He took the initiative but still let her style shine.... Perfection. ❤️
