Ok so I am taking the plunge. I understand this is a book meant to be savored. I won’t be rushing. I’m prepared to take notes as I read.

I stayed up way to late last night reading.

One of the best books I have read in a while. I cried. I pondered. I felt some instant bond with the author (who sad to say I have never heard of - I don't listen to NPR - don't judge). But I have to say that I wonder how good of a book, or if there would have been a book at all, if there wasn't an element of privilege. Still, worth a read

Keekers and I are reading together. We keep putting it down for other books required for school.

It’s hard to put down her books. Just when you think you have figured it out it goes down another twist and turn. There is good character development and the more you read the more
You feel connect to the family of three rivers even if they are in Paris for this book.

Could not put the book down. The dialogue was fast paced and the storyline swept me up. It helped that it was set in Chicago.

Interesting.

I will finish this today. Fascinating and intriguing.
