The only reason I’m getting through this book is by pure determination. That’s likely due to the amount of people saying this series is a “must read” so I’m hoping it feels worth it at the end.

Easier to read than I anticipated and I’m eager to see where the story goes from here.

Mary is a great character you find yourself rooting for and wishing you could hugs to.
I’m unsure if the author wrote this with the idea that readers would already have knowledge of the Bennett family as we know it in P&P. But the characters feel true to the original novels portrayal.
Excited to keep reading!

Holy. Crap.

I’ve put this book down for months. I still remember what’s going on so I’m attempting to continue it now. Just not finding it all that exciting.

Having the hardest time caring to even read this book which is crazy because usually by book three of a trilogy I am all in.
Finding it hard to feel interested with every stat of one of these books & I am a huge fan of clean fantasy books. So far this trilogy has given me one little thing here & there to hold my attention but ultimately it’s dragging.

Okay. I kept giving it a go and by the time I got to Part Three it started to feel like a story I was interested in. The characters became people I could connect to and seek to understand instead of this odd unattached feeling I had for a while there.
Now I’m enjoying it and will likely end this book soon needing book 2!

Listen, graphic audiobooks can make just about anything worth listening to. While I’m not a fan of this icky cover art (at least dude has a shirt?) I’ve been finding this series reminiscent of those classic drama tv shows we grew up with as teenagers. So it’s a great listen for when you’re deep cleaning.

Been sticking with the Graphic Audiobooks for this series and have never wished for a company to hurry up so much in my life. I’m waiting for Part 3 to be available in my Hoopla app.
Been checking nearly every day. Pushing through the book just before this one was SO worth it. Dark age is SO good.

This is both entertaining but also harder to get into than I anticipated. It’s a lot of magic in the beginning with little understanding until roughly chapter 5. We are given a good chunk of characters & a bit of backstories for two of them, but I find myself having a hard time connecting to anyone. Usually by now I’m invested but I go hours without picking this up.

Struggling with this one. The pace is off & the random bursts of information still leaves you a little confused.

It’s okay. Not all that creative of a story and I find myself tuning out (via graphic audio) but still understanding what’s going on without going back. So idk. It’s fine.

I am struggling a bit with this one. At times I’m intrigued enough to continue but I’m just not getting the “wow this is awesome” feelings that I was lead to believe I’d get.
It’s sort of “eh” and I haven’t picked it back up in days. Like a lot of days.. which is a great way for me to know I’m not loving it.

Is it indeed who I think it is? Or did she make me feel like it’s painfully obvious only to go “JUST KIDDING” right at the end? To be determined I guess. So far it’s pretty meh, but maybe it’ll end up good.
