Struggling with this one. The pace is off & the random bursts of information still leaves you a little confused.

It’s sort of like listening to a teenagers ramblings?

It’s okay. Not all that creative of a story and I find myself tuning out (via graphic audio) but still understanding what’s going on without going back. So idk. It’s fine.

I am struggling a bit with this one. At times I’m intrigued enough to continue but I’m just not getting the “wow this is awesome” feelings that I was lead to believe I’d get.
It’s sort of “eh” and I haven’t picked it back up in days. Like a lot of days.. which is a great way for me to know I’m not loving it.

Is it indeed who I think it is? Or did she make me feel like it’s painfully obvious only to go “JUST KIDDING” right at the end? To be determined I guess. So far it’s pretty meh, but maybe it’ll end up good.

So far it’s one guy who loved his sister wife, one god who chased after someone who didn’t want to be with him so badly that she willingly turned into a tree only for him to apparently be a tree hugger, and another god who raped a woman and then turned her into a cow so his jealous sister wife wouldn’t find out.
Cool, cool.

I both find it interesting yet painfully slow paced. So im both enjoying it & happy to put it down.

Interesting to hear about Ovid, his life, and the impact of his work. Hard to believe these works have lasted so long. Barely gotten to the poems themselves, but it’s intriguing.
