I really like how the book surrounds the story based on 4 main characters with of course multiple background characters, it’s so much easier to follow along. I cannot believe how the terrible lie Nico found out about was self-inflicted, he just didn’t know it. Then he kept lying :( and his brother resents him for working with the nazis. I really would’ve thought Nico could’ve inspired Udo in a positive way.

I really enjoy this book! Very fast paced, from the perspective of Truth…sooo interesting. It makes me think a lot of how humans operate and what lies and truth can convey about life. I’m very troubled that Nico is away from his family and though, he was raised to always tell the truth, he will soon figure out he’s not in the best hands and that the Nazi’s lie.

I have a really close relationship with my mom and I couldn’t imagine losing her. Katy really describes what it’s like to love her mom and miss all of her; her mom’s scent, lipstick, her warm embrace…everything a mom is. I just got to the part where Katy can see her dead mother and wow. The whole scenery and adventure so far is amazing, I’m adding this book to my favorites!

Wow! Diving straight into some elements of heartbreak and grief, something which I haven’t experienced yet and..I FELT it! I really like Serle’s writing so far, can’t wait to see where this story takes me!

“If your mother is the love of your life, what does that make your husband?” (Pg.3)

I really like how in the beginning, poppy explains that something happened with her and Alex but as the book goes on, you have to keep reading to find out exactly what. Emily Henry wants to hook her readers, build Alex and poppy’s cute friendship, and then boom…show us what happened. I love this book so far!! ☺️

Okayyy the sex scene was SPICY and pretty explicit, like from a scientific perspective- I don’t think her entire breast could actually fit In his mouth. Idk, mixed feelings about chapter 16 😣 which sucks because I love their chemistry so much!! but this part was just too much all at once.

Olive is such an amazing and real character. She really stands out to me especially on page 177 because she actually got vulnerable and laid her fears out on the table…wondering all sorts of things about what Adam may be thinking and fear of abandonment. I know my brain would be doing the same. I love where this romance is going!!

Ahhh! It’s so cute and stressful the situation’s Olive and Adam are getting into! Like- The sunscreen part 🤭🤭

This is so funny and cute so far! Olive is very relatable to me because I have always thought how something must be wrong with me since I don’t have a boyfriend and I’m shy and focus was too much on my studies. But! That’s probably not the case. Anyway! I wish It was so easy to just kiss the first person you see and fake date from there. It’s crazy how calm and nice Adam is about the situation too.

Really creepy so far, like I actually have chills. I like the flash backs too from when Nora is 11 years old leading up to her father’s arrest and to present day with her current boring isolation and draining career. Yes Brady sounds charming but I don’t think I trust him..but it’s too late for that.

Really good! Lee thinks there is a chance she can set free the real truth she’s been keeping in for 3 years after the shooting…will people listen though? Idkkk but I’m hooked.
