Humility
= the sense of entire nothingness, which comes when we see how truly God is all, and in which we make way for God to be all.
= to be with will, mind, and affections, the form, the vessel in which the life and glory of God are to work and manifest themselves,

= acknowledging the truth of our position as creature, and yielding to God His place.

We withdraw passively instead of communicating an honest no. We secretly resent instead of telling smn that we are angry & hurt. We privately endure the pain of smn’s irresponsibility instead of being honest about how they affect us (helpful to them). We hide ourselves in the dark (devil lurks). Boundaries in the light (communicated openly) => our personalities integrate. Healing always takes place in the light.

We need fences to keep inside that which nurtures us and outside that which is harmful. But because there is also bad on the inside and good on the outside, our fences need gates (ex.not letting pain/sin fester, opening up to receive truth, help). Perls inside, pigs outside
