This book is a fever dream on acid.

Matthew Lewis had an unhealthy obsession with the word bosom.

After short research (thank you Google and whoever else was interested in knowing this) I found that he used the word 87(!) times.

I have reached the final evolution stage of a Bookworm and have officially become a Goodreads Librarian today!! 🎉

And I thought my life was crazy..

This possibly will be my second DNF. The books reads like it's been written by a 15 year old, and I become stupider with every sentence I read.

I really wanted to like it as I heard so many good things about it.

I will read a different book to give my brain a break and maybe will come back to it at a later time.

*It's already up on ebay for sale. I just know I won't be rereading it ever.

So dissapointed.

I finally cried....

Waiting for a new copy to get delivered.... Snowflake the bunny decided to hop on my bedside table and eat half of it....

I am trying to love this book. I really am. I mean it's right up my alley story wise. It might be the format it's written in. I never liked reading interviews. I'll give it 50 more pages and then move on to another book. Maybe I'll come back to it. Maybe I won't. Only time will tell.

Once you get through this book once, it's great to go back to specific exercises and skip all the rest. The amount of times Joe references his other books is borderline pathetic. I feel like all his other books have become a money making exercise (same for Rhonda). Honestly, you only need the Secret; it will tell you everything you need to know to be able to practice it.

I'm still on chapter 2. Does this book get any better? I mean I love witches, I love New Orleans but goddam this book has the slowest beginning ever.

I have deleted my rating for the book as I am giving it another go. I have read it when I was 13/14 and I don't think I have understood the book's message completely. Let's see what of a read it will be now when I'm 29 (shhh... please don't tell anyone!)

After all these years I am still trying to finish this book....
