I’m over each book starting with the main two not being allowed to interact… so I will put this down for now

It seems like Alina’s critical thinking skills have detached and most of her has become superfluous. I’ve only been able to read so quickly because the entire plot is going nowhere and also seemingly.. all places? But the parts that are good are extremely good. Ugh

The art for this series did not showcase the brutality and vehement pain and anger behind all the main casts actions. I believe there is still worse to come

I know something bad is about to happen..

Finishing part three feels too much like finishing up a good bit of the plot with quite a few pages left and my own heart and ego bruised by Ciaras actions and Sheas negligence. There’s only so many times you want to root for the characters in the same scenario. I do have hope, however, with as bustling as the novel has remained that there is still light at the end

Finishing part two and being brusquely reminded of the actual stakes of the game was a breathtaking delivering on Safts part. Again her syntax makes the reader wonder. The world around can be envisioned so spectacularly too, for good or bad when a death occurs in quite a gruesome manner

Having finished part I, I find, as always, Allison’s prose beautiful, her characters each a vibrant form of life and her world building suffocating in its intricacy and infallible nature. If she writes anything, I will read it hungrily. Obviously
