“How strange that in his dread of death, it pumped all the harder, valiantly keeping him alive.”

“he has, to use the common phrase, done a bunk”

"I'd say that it's one short step from 'Wizards first' to 'Purebloods first,' and then to 'Death Eaters,'" replied Kingsley. "We're all human, aren't we? Every human life is worth the same, and worth saving."
wow what a relevant statement i bet this author has really awesome political beliefs

“…you could claim that anything's real if the only basis for believing in it is that nobody's proved it doesn't exist!"

‘It is the unknown we fear when we look upon death and darkness, nothing more.’

“Voldemort himself created his worst enemy, just as tyrants everywhere do! Have you any idea how much tyrants fear the people they oppress? All of them realise that, one day, amongst their many victims, there is sure to be one who rises against them and strikes back” Tea!!!

“I know what you are known as, said Dumbledore, smiling pleasantly. But to me, I'm afraid, you will always be Tom Riddle” “Dumbledore's refusal to use Voldemort’s chosen name was a refusal to allow Voldemort to dictate the terms of the meeting” dumbledore transphobic moment

vampire named Sanguini don’t piss me off….

“There he showed his contempt for anything that tied him to other people, anything that made him ordinary. Even then, he wished to be different, separate, notorious” there is a lot of stuff about voldemort that is a bit trans coded, i swear the beginning of rowling’s transphobic era was her hearing about trans ppl and it reminding her of voldemort

it look me this long to realized that the death eaters in the book are doing like actual kkk hoods with the eye slits and not just a cloak like in the movies…. bro…..
