Still not quite sure what to think of how this story is going to pan out. They are putting baits in to get you to think a certain way… but I feel pretty confident they are red herrings…

Yikes can’t believe it’s been a month… and honestly it isn’t to any fault of this book. Still enjoying the mystery. The Agatha Christie in me is trying to turn this into a whodunit mystery but I think this one is crafty enough where I don’t think I’m going to be able to guess it (much to my own frustration 😂).

Love that doesn’t include honesty doesn’t deserve to be called love.

Very captivating storytelling with few words

Wow… the anticipation of certain moments really had me truly enveloped in the moment.

Prologue = Confusion
Chapter 1 = Oh I think I get it…

Back at it after a not so brief hiatus… hoping to finish tonight… emotions are already bubbling.

Rebecca has started writing book 4, which means it’s time to start my re-reads (or first for Onyx Storm). For this 3rd time around, I’m doing the Dramatized Adaption audiobooks.

So far I’m really enjoying it! It’s interesting hearing it narrated because I feel like I interpreted the emotions differently in some scenarios - not in a bad way, just different. The perspective differences are refreshing.

No Spook no….

Can’t decide what I like better: the epigraphs or the actual story. Maybe it’s how they intertwine to slowly reveal the truths of the world. Keeping me intrigued by the newness of what we are learning in the epigraph with the story’s progression. Making me re-evaluate everything that has happened based on the revelations and trying to grasp the consequences of them to the future.

I honestly didn’t expect Spook to play such an important role in the story… and I honestly can’t get a read on if he is being played or not…
