I love a good romance plot my I need Vin to get her act together with the whole Elend thing.

Vin is a tough nugget and Kelsier, despite it obviously being the wrong decision, is clearly on to something important.

I’m enjoying the world building - the mechanics of magic, mixed with the ideology of the people, is pretty interesting. My main struggle is with the strategy meetings, but the pieces are slotting together. I definitely still feel like I’m missing something. I need a history book on the Ascension.

Also, whenever Lestibournes talks, I have no idea what is being said… hurts my brain a little bit too much.

The imagery and the mechanics of that fight scene were really interesting!

Audiobook book must read - bravo to the narrator! The story really captures you from the beginning - characters, tone, plot. Despite the complexity of world building in a LitRPG style book, everything still seems cohesive and introduced in creative ways. The sass of the achievement reads are some of my favorite parts. Definitely enjoying it (and will be reusing some of these words for the review).

Ummmm gross

The pace of the chapters has completely changed. I felt that many were just hysterics of Garratty coming in and out of consciousness, and honestly I those were a bit boring - interesting but just too drawn out/repetitive. Now that the Walkers are thinned out and approaching Freeport, backstory, reasoning is emerging. And I honestly find that more enjoyable a read. They better follow through on their promise.
