Struggling to get into this one 😭

Not nearlyyyy as good as the first book.... honestly Disappointing. It's even written differently, the prose is less intelligent, swearing 👎🏼, and wayyy too much spice to skip 👎🏼👎🏼. Had high hopes for this one based on book 1 being good, but this one does not meet the mark. Will finish it, but not as good as book 1.

Definitely not my favorite character or situation, but did not expect that twist...

Just really enjoying this book ❤️‍🩹 and all the fun recipes with song vibe ideas! Will need to get the book to try them out. :) also love the whodunit spurts throughout!

This book is so good, audiobook is also the best choice to hear all of the characters accents. While set in historical 1950s, I find there are many parallels to today. I also enjoy Quinn's writing on the perspective of "the house". Clever!

Loving it so far! It's like a fantasy book and a regency era romance had a baby. I'm loving all of the perfumery talk and it makes for a very vivid read as far as setting and characters. Very unique so far and enjoying the plot!! :)

DNFed. What is happening to me?! I will likely return to this one eventually but the back and forth narration was making it tricky for me to stay engaged with the plotline although I DO want to know how this one ends, I just need a break from it for now.

I think I'm unintentionally intentionally not finishing this one because I don't want it to end 😂 because then I'll be all caught up on Sarah Adams books with none to fall back on. Need to finish it soon though, and just get over that fact 😅.
