David read this in like 4 days and said I HAVE to read it, so here I am 😂

Don’t know if I’ll finish this one or not… The author has tried to write a satire of Christian “trad wives” without understanding or developing any empathy for her subject. The main character is written as an unlikable narcissist and/or potentially a psychopath..? Strong language and unfortunately some blasphemy which I don’t at all care for… still hilarious in a so-bad-it’s-good way thus far.

I’m basically reading this for the memes, so far it is HILARIOUS and not for the reasons the author thinks 😅

So close to the end! Robert Jordan does not know how to structure a book (or edit one down to less than 700 pages…) Can we finish before the end of the year??

Almost 300 pages in and they're finally *starting* to get to the actual plot... Oh Robert Jordan, how I've missed thy incomprehensible story structure 🙃

Whenever Raistlin is involved this book gets 200% better. Frustrating to read at times because there are super well written parts, and then suddenly it devolves into bad fantasy nonsense again. At least David is reading it to me with all the voices 👍

This has been the first book on my “Want To Read” list for actual years. Finally going to read it at last :)

Almost there!

Started reading this last year, and forgot to put it on here. There is a LOT of detail included about basically every character, but it all weaves together in an intricate tapestry, and I'm really enjoying this book so far.

Everyone's gonna die, which is kind of unfortunate considering I'm starting to care (a teeny, tiny bit) about a few of the characters???

All the characters are terrible people and there's really nobody I can root for, BUT HEY THE PLOT'S PRETTY GREAT

My brother really loves this book, and he's reading it to me. So far, it's a very cool, well written Middle Grade novel, and I'm excited to find out what happens next! ^_^

Much enjoyable Night Vale weirdness is happening, but I'm kind of nervous that there's not going to be any actual answers or explanations at the end... :/
