I’ve made the mistake looking at reviews of this book before finishing. People have rated it low bc the FMC is “insufferable, overly confident, and annoying”. Meanwhile I have been highlighting quotes inspired by her confidence and optimistic attitude! It makes me think of a few male protagonists who are also overly confident who don’t get nearly as much criticism as they should… I see you Emerson!
