It does start reading a little faster once they stop explaining the alchemy stuff so much and Mr. white hair walks onto the scene. I'm a sucker for the MMCs, they really don't have to do much to impress me!

Maybe it's still too early to tell, maybe it's just me, but so far this book is reading very sloooooooowly. Which is not what I want from a 1,000+ page book! Please tell me it picks up in pace and excitement soon.

Only got through the first chapter yesterday and I would already love to know when the mmc is going to enter the book. They are after all the reason I read!

I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel!! Don't get me wrong I'm enjoying this immensely, I love this series, but it has been over 3 weeks that I've spent on this book when I thought it would be a 4 day read! I'm in a slump where I'm not in the mood or am too tired to read more than a few pages at a time, but I'm still trudging along slowly! Hope starting Alchemised tomorrow will give me the boost I need

Here I am! 1st of the month and still 200 pages left of this book. Idk if it's just me, but I NEVER like to cross into a new month reading the same book. That's why I always start any particularly long books only on the 1st of each month and I base my reads towards the end of the month on how many days I've got left in the month. I simply did not expect it to take me 2 weeks to get barely halfway thru this!!

I want to devour this it's SOOOOOO good, but I'm having a very slow reading week.
"That's how desperately I wanted to be yours!" Ugh, I just wanna squish them together and make them kiss like we used to do to Barbie and Ken.
Idk if I'll be able to squeeze in a 5th book this month based on how slow I'm getting through this book, but I'm not mad about it, I like being right where I'm at lol

Was hoping when I looked at the page number it was much higher. I fell asleep with my kindle in my hand LOL. At this point, idk what to do to make progress, I've been exhausted this week!

I wish I wasn't so busy this week and could read more because so far this book is just as addicting as I remember the first one to be!

It's 2am and I should be sleeping even though I soooooo want to keep reading. 100 pages left and I'll be done with this series. I don't think my heart is going to handle it very well if I'm being honest 😅

I'm thinking I'll be very much annoyed when this series is over

Hopefully this gives me the resolution that I need bc my jaw was left on the floor at the end of book 2 and I had to start this immediately!

I honestly didn't expect this book to be so deep. Idk if maybe it went completely over my head in book 1, but I am pleasantly surprised so far.
