kind of dropped off on my reading for a while oops…. but we’re back. ngl, it’s a bit of a struggle to get back into this one

okay……. i still stand by the writing. it kinda feels like i’m reading a fanfic haha. but i’m HOOKED! the plot is captivating and violet and xaden’s relationship is *chef’s kiss*

okay just finished chapter 2 and first impressions are not looking great…….. the writing seems so juvenile and so do that characters! i know they’re only 20 but still….. i don’t think i was acting this way? idk i really really want to like this book bc ive heard such great things about it but ahhhhh. i’m hoping that the plot and romance saves it 😣

Actually really liking it so far! I was afraid I would be bored bc I saw someone say she didn’t like it bc it’s just all about Chaol. But I actually like Chaol and seeing his relationship with Yrene blossom! And the imagery of Antica is STUNNING. And the new characters of the royal family are very interesting! Can’t believe only one more book after this!
