I hope to finish this soon. The world needs more leaders like John Stott, someone who is unabashedly orthodox and also 100% laser-focused on reaching and improving people and creation all for the glory of God.

The Gospel of Thomas is not that invigorating of a read, but it is interesting to see some parallels to the canonical gospels (the use of εντος with regard to the Kingdom of God, for example).

It's very simple, but still a helpful refresher

Currently on my second readthrough. So far, the most profound thing I’ve heard is this: “if you had perfect assurance of your salvation, what would you do? Go now, and do what you would do then.” Beautiful

The higher-ups at MindGeek (the company that has a monopoly on porn sites) are literally cartoon villains.

I’m expecting to feel conviction, shame, and anger while reading this book. May God use this book to help further my sanctification, as well as inform others at the horrors that undergird the world of pornography.

I plan on digesting this book slowly. The lessons throughout are pure gems. Already I can tell why this is such a classic!

I started listening to this book on my drive back from Wheaton, and I had to pause for reflection often. Although I am just getting started, I can already tell why this book is so beloved by so many different Christians throughout time.

Rereading this book for the 3rd time. There are parts that are extremely relevant for the times we are living in.
