June: oooh yeah let me just absolutely destroy this HIGH SCHOOL AGED CHILD just because she looked up and joked about the controversy surrounding my book that I TOTALLY did NOT STEAL like AT ALL because remember guys the first manuscript Athena wrote sucked and *I* did all the work so really I wrote the book.
My anger is absolutely justified and I am not responsible for destroying her confidence tee hee!

I think the entire plot of Yellowface could have been avoided is June learned the Heimlich maneuver or had a good think and some floor time before stealing a manuscript

On chapter 22! I think Jolyne should have listened to that kid because if *I* was in jail and some creepy kid told ME not to meet some random guy then I would simply not meet him!

I haven’t finished Part 5 yet LMAO but I’m literally almost done with it
Anyways I don’t know enough about anyone to form a solid opinion on them yet but I’m having a good time! I will finish this before part 9 tho I AM DETERMINED

Idk how she does it but Madeline Miller can write for this time period so well it’s insane. Anyways things are heating up again so I’m excited to see where it all goes!
