this book (including book one) are mot “high fantasy” or epic fantasy, they are unmistakably Young Adult YA fantasy. with all the Shallan Angsty chapters and her love intrestS
i started skipping her flash back not even listening to the audiobook Flashback just straight ahead skipp them. also i am skimming her boring Teeny chapters

reading other POV then going into a Shallan chapter, its like an author trying to imitate game of thrones then introduces a Disney princess character. Shallan is the disney princess and i started to skin through her chapters. its the author fault really for this boring POV, If she’s so boring then just don’t update us in everything she’s doing “oh she saw a plant and started drawing” 🥱🥱🥱
