I am completely engulfed in this story even when I am not reading it. I cannot stop thinking about it. Although it is psychologically horrifying, it also possesses one of the most creatively pure and tragically beautiful tellings of perseverance. I’ve never read/consumed anything like this.

82 pages in - I had to pause due to my emotional distress. My empathy and pain runs so deep for these women that I began to cry for them.

I love this so far.
