Wow. Addicting! Cannot wait to read Fifty Shades Darker. Movie blowed compared to the book.

A short, easy read that made me want to read the next book in the series very badly. It included a preview for Danse Macabre and the cliffhanger Laurell left it at was so frustratingly brilliant I will be searching my collection for it!!

I liked the second edition into Merry Gentry's life. Was disappointed that there is no pregnancy at the end of book two. I still can't make up my mind who I would even want to be the father of Meredith's's child and the king of the throne. There will be more guards, so do that mean that one of my favorite guards is going away? It better not be Doyle, or I am going to throw a huge fit!! Sorry for any spoilers!

Short stories sometimes have all the information you need to be satisfied. This one, unfortunately, does not. It only introduces the main characters. I didn't even know what Breanna did before she didn't go to work anymore because she was "dying" from not mating with her vampire. Anywhoozles, an interesting play on the fictional vampire culture nevertheless.

Easy read. I didn't like the way she wrote the book. It was too simple for me. I felt like she was trying to explain it to me as if I were a child. I also find it highly unbelievable how quickly things got heated between the two main characters. Yet, I read the whole dang thing. I am dissatisfied with the ending. I even read the excerpt from the next book. I don't know if this is the car crash theory at all. Get it?

Somebody's dead by chapter 5, woo! The plot thickens.

I loved this. It was free download on google play. It's slow but then it has an omg-you-just-didnt-do-that-to-us cliffhanger. Look forward to reading the second one: A March of Kings.

I really loved every single story it here. Some of my favorites were the ones about the sea serpent and the whole short story of Here Be Dragons. Here be Dragons is my kind of sci-fi. I haven't read nightseer by Laurell K yet, but reading the three or four stories set in that world makes me want to read it sooner than later. Again, a book for mature young-adults and adults. It could be mentally disturbing.

I recommend this book to mature young-adults and adults. It's not a subject to take lightly, for I didn't just brush it off. The concept and message the book was designed to leave stayed in my mind. Sort of like how Jay felt Raul was inside of him at the end of the book. Though, In my humble opinion, you have to let a demon like that or of any sort possess you only if you have truly given up on sanity.
