I’m just audiobooking this so it feels like I’m rewatching the Show all over again 🥰 damn I was desperate for a romance…

I’m audiobooking this so idk how it is spelled but damn I giggling at “Lord Seroquel” 😂 💊

Not loving these last few chapters…. Honestly have debated DNF-ing. The “world building” just feels so chaotic/ so much with little structure. I feel confused and overwhelmed and not able to cling to anything/ anyone. But I have it as an audiobook from the library so I feel like “why not try to keep reading/ try to finish 🤷‍♀️ “

I saw a review that said something like this book is just the author reminding you over and over again that she is smart. This worked in Babel - but in this it just comes off as random ass facts being narrated in between actual plots. It’s so obnoxious and doesn’t flow into the story at all

I love the way this author writes, but I don’t love the way this book jumps around with the time frame/ all the flashbacks

My library app constantly giving me books alllll at the same time of course

Ok I checked other reviews and am learning this is this authors first novel…. It definitely shows.

This showed up on my Library app as available — I started it and only JUST learned, 4 chapters in, that this is a Reylo Fan fic originally????!??? Lollll honestly I’m down let’s go…..

But it definitely has its problems already writing-wise

I listened to Frankenstein’s audiobook and now I am on a Classic novels kick

Ch. 20 is just detailing their SA and while I appreciated the honesty about how brutal the reporting system is, and how it always upholds the predator, I did NOT need to read the play by play of the assault. Idk maybe that’s just me but I feel they could have been much more vague in that part and keep that between them and the therapist

I love the vibe of this book and the characters are fun, but something about this story just isn’t fully clicking with me yet

Panic-trying to quickly get through this audiobook before it gets auto-returned to my library in 2 days but it’s so long 😭
