Although I enjoyed reading this book, it made me feel more than once that being heterosexual or having a heterosexual relationship means conducting a boring life, while being gay is fun but you’ll only end up suffering from it. Everyone is confused and the story itself is messy. I think that even if the story unfolds over the course of literally a weekend, it’s revealing salient details too slowly.
