Do you ever read a line that makes you put down the book and rethink your life choices (derogatory)? Cause seeing “He has seen evil up close in Afghanistan and Iraq, but he wasn’t expecting something this clinical and diabolical in America." was it for me. Had to double check what year this book came out because this line was so profoundly tone deaf
