I actually absolutely love this. Every once in a while, Alina has the most beautiful thoughts and ugh I love her.

This is truly the only human x vampire relationship that makes any sense and I can’t get over how good it is. This is the predator x prey that feels exactly like that, absolutely horrifying and exciting all at once.

It’s the way the tension between Alina and the creature is making my pulse skyrocket.

The conversation is so repetitive and their thoughts and feelings so back and forth—I don’t even remember what it was about the first two books that was so great.

Powerless was my favorite book, but more trials..? What the hell lauren.
