I think the characters are cute. FMC is only a little annoying with how uncertain she is all the time.

I’m really struggling with this book. Things are happening that seem really illogical but also the overall story is a bit bland and boring. I really don’t like the idea that she’s here for revenge. If she really thought these guys were responsive for her sisters death she shouldn’t be so willing to jump into bed with them.

Some things are pretty cringy. The FMCs emotions are mildly confusing to me because I’m not sure I really understand why the things that upset her are that big of a deal.

I like the characters so far I’m only slightly confused but that’s a good thing since the plot isn’t obvious right away.

Another breakup are you kidding me. What is even happening right now?

Yup called it. Miscommunication AND 3rd act breakup? Absolutely annoying.

Still confused. I thought things were starting to get better at first but now I’m just confused again.

A prank war…really? Once I think would have been enough and obviously they’re closer now…this is feeling childish at this point. These are adults.

This is the slowest slow burn I’ve ever read

They are still fighting and I’m almost halfway through the book. It’s a bit frustrating how much miscommunication and childish behavior these two are displaying. Especially when they’re both supposed to be adults.

It was a rough start but I’m actually starting to enjoy the story. There are still a few things that seems weird and I’m finding it hard to predict.

I haven’t 100% formed an opinion on this book. It’s not very spicy so far only one real scene and the rest is just mentions or inner thoughts.

Story is interesting I’m not quite sure where it’s going only a few things are predictable. There are a lot of characters to keep up with.

Storyline is picking up now, making a bit more sense. Where things were fast before, now the plot has slowed and I find myself feeling a bit bored by all the random details.

Very fast paced start. Lots of time skipping with very little information given. A few contradictory statements and mildly confusing characterizations.

I realized this book benefits the Trevor project and that is a LGBTQ+ organization…I should have assumed this would be very queer focused stories and that’s on me - though I was never really taking that into consideration when rating this book. I would rate it fairly based on quality of writing vs content.

Well that was not something I expected…I am just…disappointed I guess.

I love these characters cause I’ve read their standalone and I know they have queer elements, but not all of them and not like this? I’m confused. I don’t feel like it fits the character (if you know you know) and I don’t like a submissive man.

Another queer story. Diverse characters in this anthology as a whole which is good if you like those sorts of stories.

I’m not a big fan of them. This one is a non binary MC (female assigned at birth) and FMC.

3rd story I really liked! I hope it develops into a full book I’d love to read more. For a short story I’d give it 4/5 stars just on its own. The only thing missing for me was a bit of descriptive language of the FMC I couldn’t picture her as well as the two MMCs

Finding the DJ - Kat Fallons

Second story is not for me. MM romance I don’t particularly enjoy reading them. Writing is good though so I’m committed to finishing it.

This is a collection of seemingly smutty short stories.

So far I have thoughts on the first one but I don’t think it will all fit here.

In summary though the first story to me lacked some depth. It seemed pointless for the author to build up this story just so the characters could hook up. It seemed like maybe filler to get to what the point was - smut. This story would work better as an actual book.

I’m liking this so far. The two MCs are cute. There’s a lot of tension and I love that. Rivals/friends to lovers. MMC is an asshole. I’m having a hard time understand his logic for the way he acts, he says he can’t think straight around her, but he knows the things he says have an impact and that’s why he says them…kinda weird idk.

I am enjoying this book a little more than the last.

Seems it focuses more on plot development and less on just smutty scenes.
