Phew it's been a roller-coaster! Once we push past the clunky centre of the story (there was a lot to explain, a lot to understand, and frankly I think Harding did well with it considering how much information she was trying to convey) the pace has been picking up every chapter! I'm excited to see where this book ends and jump into the next one!

It didn't take long for this book to dive into that rich, ancient history and I love it! Also pleased to see Ashlee hasn't changed from being a kickass woman who does what she needs to do to get shit done! I thought she had brown hair though? Possibly a slip up on the authors part?

Characters from book one reappearing feels like greeting old friends again - a testiment to their writing I think.

Thoroughly enjoying this book and excited to see how it ends. I was disappointed (slightly) by some of the cliches - for example, would love to see a Feyre/Lucien pairing or no pairing over the typical Feyre/Tamlin pairing, but that's just me! The lore, the curse, the history given is all fantastic and the romance IS well written so I'm still enjoying it!
