its not that i dislike it, i just feel like im waiting for the beat to drop and it just will not. im about to get to the genderswapping dykes part tho so im gonna wait to dnf until at least then. however, this is not rlly helping my reading slump. :'(

i finally got new highlighters so i can continue to read.

its not that bad. its just that it reads like a cozy fantasy, which is fine, but in reality a lot of things are actually happening. so like somehow im entertained and bored at the same time, but mostly bored. if i didnt really like pirates and the ocean i wouldve stopped reading ages ago.

i feel like its getting less and less interesting. but also. charlie is totally the rat. im calling it now.

i can hear so much of blues voice in this. so beautiful, if a bit less polished than her later work. but just as beautiful.
